PeaceTags™ were given as "gifts of gratitude" to speakers and panelists at the Seeds of Compassion conference in Seattle, April 11-15 2008. Emily Hine, Senior Director of the Seeds of Compassion conference, is shown presenting the Dalai Lama with the gift at a forum on compassionate philanthropy in front of hundreds of enthusiastic conference participants.

Anchored by the deep wisdom of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, this community-focused event celebrated and explored the relationships, programs and tools that nurture and empower children, families and communities to be compassionate members of society. "I am honored and grateful that our work, along with that of Wounded Warrior Project, can benefit from PeaceTags™. Both Voices in Wartime and Wounded Warrior Project share a mission of healing the wounds of war, honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans, and helping create a more peaceful world. PeaceTags™ point to a future in which our young people can create a more sustainable and moral world."

~Andrew Himes, Founder
Voices in Wartime Education Project

"Wounded Warrior Project's (WWP) ability to serve this generation of wounded is facilitated by a dedicated and appreciative American public who feel it is their duty to support those that sacrifice so much to preserve the privileges we live under. Those that support PeaceTags™ fully embody that spirit and we are grateful for their continued support."
